I had issues with my other dog as well but the one that was kept alive for no reason was more serious. Jones with some questions and flat out refused to call be back. I have heard some awful things about the docs and the staff was miserable. The vet said she was in so much pain she couldn’t believe it. The next day we had the most compassionate vet come to our home to help her cross the rainbow and put her out of pain. We walked out furious that all they wanted to do was keep her alive. At that point, they wanted to give her more meds that would possibly keep her alive for about 2 weeks but told us her whole body was shutting down. Well they wouldn't see her until the next day. We made the decision several years ago that it was more humane to give her the medication and risk it affecting her liver than allowing her to be in such pain. She was taking a medicine for arthritis and it is not good for her liver however, it was the only thing that worked or she was in terrible pain.
